How can the National Careers Service help you find a job?

The national careers service was set up by the government to give people somewhere to go for free unbiased advice on all things career based. They have a comprehensive website where they offer ‘live chat’ advice and they also have a CV builder tool available for free offering a template and guidance on the perfect CV.

The national careers service are also dedicated in assisting people age 13-16 in considering their future career and helping them find a pathway to it. They also offer assistance with things such as work experience and exam advice to help with what can be a very stressful time for most teenagers.

The advice on the website is updated regularly and they have different pieces about changing careers and re-training along with skill tests to help you make the right career choices.

So if you’re unsure what your next career step should be it may be worth a look, even just to give you that bit of motivation to get the ball rolling on changing jobs.
